THE POSITION: The SharePoint and O365 Specialist is responsible for the expert-level administration, configuration, and optimization of the company’s Microsoft SharePoint Online environment within Office 365. This role ensures that STACK’s corporate SharePoint instance is secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs, while also providing advanced support across the Microsoft 365 suite. Acting as the subject matter expert, the specialist will manage site collections, governance, workflows, and integrations, while partnering with stakeholders to maximize collaboration, knowledge management, and productivity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • SharePoint Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for STACK’s enterprise SharePoint Online environment, including site collections, permissions, templates, governance policies, and content lifecycle management. • Office 365 Management: Provide advanced administration across O365 apps and services (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, EntraID/Azure AD), ensuring seamless integration with SharePoint. • Solution Development & Automation: Design and implement custom SharePoint solutions, workflows, and Power Automate flows to support collaboration, document management, and business process automation. • Security & Compliance: Define and enforce governance standards for access controls, data retention, compliance, and information security across the SharePoint and O365 ecosystem. • Performance & Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SharePoint performance, storage usage, and service availability, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business requirements. • End-User Enablement: Partner with business units to understand requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions; provide training, support, and documentation for end users and power users. • Collaboration with IT: Work closely with Network, Systems, and Security teams to ensure SharePoint and O365 services are resilient, secure, and fully integrated into the company’s IT environment. • Vendor & Licensing Management: Coordinate with Microsoft and third-party vendors to manage licensing, updates, escalations, and roadmap planning. THE DETAILS: • Location: Dallas, TX or Denver, CO (Hybrid) • Travel: <10% • Compensation: $135,000 – $145,000 • Benefits: Healthcare, Dental Care, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Leave Programs • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must pass comprehensive background screening MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online in an enterprise environment. • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, EntraID (Azure AD), and security/compliance features. • Strong understanding of SharePoint governance, permissions models, content types, and site architecture. • Experience with Power Automate, PowerApps, and workflow automation in O365. • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, PnP PowerShell) for administration and automation. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
