About the Opportunity Trantor is looking for a skilled PowerBI Developer to join our team. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in data processing and analysis, programming, and a deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem. Require work experience in migration of SSRS to Power BI Report Builder. If you are passionate about turning data into actionable insights and have a knack for optimizing data systems, read on for the qualifications and responsibilities. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. • Connect Power BI to various data sources and design data models to facilitate complex data analysis. • Use DAX and PowerQuery to perform advanced data analysis and create calculated columns, measures, and tables. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions. • Ability to work under high pressure & tight deadlines. • Stay focused on regular developments of the on-going projects & able to take complete charge of the assigned activities. • Must be a strong team player to work alongside with highly motivated professionals. • Train and assist business users in the use of Power BI tools and reports. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality control measures. • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Power BI and other BI technologies. Qualifications • Extensive experience in developing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI with 5+ years of experience • 3+ years of experience required in SSRS as mandatory. • Must have experience converting SSRS reports to Power BI Paginated Report Builder. 1+ year of experience in Power BI Paginated Report Builder experience. • Strong ability to translate large complex data sets into intuitive visualizations & offer out-of-box solutions (advance dashboarding) to the present environment. • Skilled in identifying trends and insights through data visualization tools. • Proficient in writing SQL queries (DQL, DML, DDL) for data retrieval, manipulation, and definition. • Experience with SQL Server is must have. • Experience in Databricks is good to have. • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Azure services related to data processing and storage. • Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Bicep is advantageous. • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, PySpark or C# is beneficial. • Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. • Having concepts of Microsoft Fabric will be added advantage. Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Certification Microsoft Power BI Data Analytics (PL 300) certified is good to have.
