Job Summary (Sr. Power BI Developer – Charlotte NC): LOCALS ONLY with retail experience • Lead development and delivery of Power BI reports and dashboards for a major retail analytics project (IRIS) focused on holiday sales insights. • Work with large-scale data from Azure Data Lake and Databricks, performing data ingestion, quality checks, and complex data transformations. • Build and optimize ETL pipelines and data models for accurate, actionable analytics using MS Azure, Databricks, and Power Platform. • Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure data solutions drive business decisions. • Implement role-based security and manage data sources, visualizations, and data models within Power BI. • Leverage strong SQL, scripting (Python, Shell, R), and cloud data engineering skills to support data integration, transformation, and reporting. • Utilize experience with REST APIs, PySpark, and machine learning frameworks for advanced analytics and automation. • Apply knowledge of Azure ecosystem (Data Lake, Cosmos, Synapse, Azure SQL) and exposure to GCP tools as needed. • Ensure high standard of communication and teamwork in a hybrid work environment (3-4 days/week onsite). • Requirements: 12+ years’ experience, retail industry background, senior-level Power BI and Azure expertise, Databricks proficiency, local to Charlotte NC
