Job Title: IT Network Administrator Location: Houston, TX(Galleria Area) Schedule: Full-Time, (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Pay: $38-$45 Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension) Position Summary Dean's Professional Service is seeking a highly skilled IT Network Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and performance across the organization. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in IT network management, a strong technical background, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support operational goals. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily operations of IT network systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. • Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, load balancing, and firewall configurations. • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, proactively resolving issues to minimize downtime. • Configure and support network technologies including Cisco, Arista, Meraki, Avi, and Palo Alto. • Implement ITIL best practices and maintain compliance with IT standards and policies. • Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to support business objectives. • Document processes, network diagrams, and technical procedures. • Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements for network infrastructure. Required Qualifications • Associate's degree in a related field or seven (7) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in IT network management. • Expertise in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, WLAN, load balancing, and firewalls. • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification or must obtain within 6 months of hire. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Professional certifications such as CCNA, ACE-2, PCNSA, or equivalent. • Experience managing multi-vendor environments.
