Job Title: IT Desktop Support Engineer Reports To: Information Systems Director Position Summary Responsible for the life-cycle management for all IS/IT assets including configuration management, change management and release management activities for devices, users, software, and licensing. JOB REQUIREMENTS (not An All-inclusive List) • IS asset management and tracking • Responsible for the tracking of all network connected devices (PCs, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Phones, Printers, Plotters, etc…) regarding the following: • User assigned to • Health/Status of the device • Age of the device and software versioning for updating/upgrading (as required) • Lease agreements and service contracts for the devices as it applies • Management of the service provider accounts • Procurement and administering a running inventory for user replacements and end-user growth • All mobile devices through our cellular carrier • All purchased or leased personal computing equipment and applicable accessories • Procurement and management of software licenses and subscriptions • IS Software and Hardware support person for on-premises required items: • Support for basic technical issues on computers, laptops, mobile devices. • Functional knowledge in Windows based environments (in particular Windows 7/8/10). • Experience in (re-)installation of most desktop related software in corporate networked environments. • Support mobile devices and the company required software for these devices (e.g. iPad, Tablets, JetPacks, iPhones, and Android Phones). • Assist users on end-user network devices (Printers, Plotters, TV displays, etc…). • Internal point of contact for service desk communications • Manage relationships and communications between Pueblo and internal IS department and 3 rd party managed solution providers where Service Desk is concerned • Monitor and follow-up support with all service desk tickets (internal and managed by MSP) • Manage small to large sized acquisition user deployments with regards to hardware, software, licensing, cellular devices, and user accounts Required Skills, Qualifications, And Traits • Effective communicator [internal & external customers and vendors] • Ability to communicate the technical details effectively to a non-technical audience • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment • Self-starter with high energy level and positive attitude • Ability to adapt and thrive in rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines • Strong problem solving skills • Understands Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products beyond a basic capacity • Ability to design, implement, document, train, and administer organizational processes Desired Skills And Experience • Microsoft Windows 10 and Active Directory [ with Azure AD hybrid] environments • Microsoft Group Policy configurations and management • Microsoft SCCM administration and configuration • Microsoft ATP, EMS, InTune [particularly in hybrid environments with SCCM] • Microsoft 365 Enterprise environments, licensing, and management • Experience in hardware (Intel x64 based) support and upgrades • Project management in deployments to small to large groups of users for both software and hardware
