Responsibilities • Design and develop new features and/or maintain existing applications developed on Microsoft .NET Technologies. • Develop code and support technical documentation. • Work in a team environment to develop, test, and deploy software changes. • Work with customers to understand and implement new requirements. • Provide operational support when necessary. • Provide input on new designs and architecture as needed. • Develop a well-tested, high performance, scalable web application. • Stay current on new technologies and best practices. • Regularly attend and facilitate meetings with clients and give presentations when necessary. • Support the preparation and delivery of project documentation including regular status reports, management briefing documents and security documents. Qualifications: • At least 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying web-based applications using .NET Technologies; ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) and Entity Data Model, Object-Relational Mapper (ORM). • Designing and developing new features and/or maintaining existing applications developed on ASP.NET. • At least 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, packaging, and deploying web applications is strongly preferred. • At least 5+ years of SQL Server RDBMS experience with skills in data manipulation mechanisms such as SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, and user defined functions etc. and LINQ to Entities or LINQ to SQL. • At least 5+ years of experience in user interface (UI) development with JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, XML, HTML and DHTML skills along with Telerik UI Controls for ASP.NET AJAX. • At least 3+ years of experience with iTextSharp or its successor iText for generating, manipulating, and customizing PDF documents. • At least 5+ years of experience in IIS site management encompassing installation, configuration, security, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and deploying applications. • At least 2+ years of experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SVN, GitHub, and SSMS. • Experience with one of the popular JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or jQuery is strongly preferred • .NET Core knowledge is a huge plus. • Maintaining Windows servers in terms of security patching or vulnerabilities remediation is a plus • Continuous Integration (CI/CD), Automated Test writing experience is a plus. • Must be flexible to change and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to get public trust clearance. Education • Microsoft .NET technologies related certification is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or relevant IT experience.
