Position: Systems Administrator/Information Assurance Support - Journeyman Overview Systems Administrator/Information Assurance Support – Journeyman role at Jobs via Dice. Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This position supports the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office (ATEA FPO) by independently executing IT/Systems Administrator/Information Assurance (IA) tasks in a classified work environment for DoD SAP/SCI infrastructure. Responsibilities • Support implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple classified and unclassified networked systems. • Plan, coordinate, and install applications software and hardware for multiple classified networked systems. • Define/resolve information technology issues; provide troubleshooting/Helpdesk support to all ATEA FPO assigned personnel. • Maintain inventory control records for all ATEA FPO IT equipment, including current and future inventory (new software and networks). • Oversee the installation and configuration of applications software and the establishment of user environments. • Implement formal Information Systems Security Plan while enforcing Information System Security policies. • Manage installation of system patches and enhancements/updates and ensure system integrity is not compromised. • Provide proactive consultation and instruction with system users to ensure seamless implementation of changes. • Provide ATEA FPO secure video teleconferencing (VTC) support. Qualifications • 5+ years of relevant DoD work experience (years may be waiverable with customer approval). • 18+ months of experience in a SAP or SCI environment (experience may be waiverable with customer approval). • Security+ Certification. • Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, IP configuration). • Experience with CAISI, CSS VSAT, and networking. Education • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) (Experience may be considered lieu of education). Desired skills • Experience in Technical Support, Cloud Computing, Information Security, and Compliance. • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications. • Installing, configuring, and managing network switches and routers (OSPF, MPLS, SDN) on Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms. • Proficiency with Active Directory, domain controllers, IP addressing, DNS, remote access, VLANs, and VoIP systems. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Clearance Requirements • Possess an active Top Secret security clearance, based upon a Single Scope Background (SSBI/SBPR). • Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
