JOB TITLE: Database Administrator - REMOTE LOCATION: Remote U.S. PAY RATE: $135/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details: • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) • Shift: 4/10-A • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation • Benefits: Medical dental and vision (Cigna) • Perks: Bonus potential Priority access via Tier 1 supplier • Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S. Qualifying Questions: • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary Summary: • Support the rebuild of a legacy application currently built with ASP and Microsoft Access. • The new application will be developed using the internal Assembly Framework based on Angular .NET and SQL Server technologies. • Strong technical expertise problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset. • Rebuild the legacy application using the internal Assembly Framework • Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable maintainable solutions • Follow DevOps best practices leveraging GitLab for version control • Implement automation for deployment and testing where applicable • Support a smooth transition from development to maintenance • Ensure high code quality and adherence to project standards Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required • 5 years of experience in software development focused on .NET and Angular • Strong understanding of SQL Server and database design principles • Proficiency with GitLab and DevOps practices • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment • Experience with modular application design and the Assembly Framework • Familiarity with automated deployment and testing practices • Understanding of long-term software maintenance and support strategies • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
