Senior DevOps Engineer Job Description CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain load balancing technologies, including F5 local traffic managers (LTMs). Drive virtual IP (VIP) load balancing systems, load balancing pools, and load balancer nodes. Author iRules code to manage network traffic. Perform SSL offloading to relieve web servers of processing burdens. Monitor enterprise tools for Application Performance Management (APM), system vitals, synthetics, and real user monitoring (RUM). Leverage AWS technologies for load balancing and cloud computing. Develop and manage applications using Kubernetes and EKS. Design and deploy internal infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies, including Terraform and CloudFormation. #LI-DNI Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with designing, developing, and maintaining load balancing technologies. Experience must include at minimum: 5 years of experience with configuring content delivery networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management; 5 years of experience with managing heavy web traffic sites; 5 years of experience with IaC technologies, including Terraform and CloudFormation; 5 years of experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) technologies, including Azure DevOps; 5 years of experience with Kubernetes and EKS; 5 years of experience with Java, C#, Python, and NodeJS; and 5 years of experience with server-less architecture methodologies.
