Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure while ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance our development and deployment practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and software development methodologies. Responsibilities • Design and implement service-oriented architecture for scalable applications • Manage and optimize cloud environments including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace • Utilize virtualization technologies such as VMware and OpenStack to enhance infrastructure efficiency • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Terraform • Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes for microservices architecture • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of web services and APIs • Conduct system hardening practices to secure IT infrastructure • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time • Automate deployment processes using configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet • Engage in Agile methodologies to improve software development life cycle (SDLC) processes Skills • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack) • Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker) • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks • Understanding of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs for application integration • Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Go, Ruby on Rails, .NET, or Node.js is a plus • Ability to work with various operating systems including Linux and Windows environments Join us in shaping the future of our technology landscape as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
