About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our growing technology team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. This role requires deep technical knowledge across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, software engineering, and leadership. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Lead cloud migration efforts, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency, performance, and scalability. Establish and enforce cloud governance, best practices, and security controls. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud environments. Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools, technologies, and platforms as needed. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years focused on cloud architecture or engineering. Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native application design. Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates. Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Preferred Qualifications Relevant cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect). Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
