Job Overview D-BAT Lexington is the premier indoor baseball and softball academy in the central Kentucky area. We are seeking to add front desk staff members to our team. This position duties will include: customer services, sales, cleaning, merchandizing, organizing, computer work, and excellent communication skills. Sales bonuses will be available on top of hourly rate. Weeknights and Weekend available will be required. General to above average knowledge of baseball/softball topics and equipment will be required. Duties • Greet and assist visitors and clients with a warm and welcoming attitude. • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and filing of documents. . • Maintain office management duties, including calendar management and scheduling appointments. • Provide clerical support such as proofreading documents, typing correspondence, and managing emails using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. • Assist with customer support inquiries, addressing concerns promptly and professionally. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. • Support administrative functions as required, including filing and organizing office materials. Experience • Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred. • Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is advantageous. • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications. • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse clients. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment. • Previous experience in customer service or support roles is highly valued.
