Role and Responsibilities. • Deploying and managing Azure App Services, Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Logic Apps to automate scalable workflows • Configuring and managing VMSS, improving system availability and scaling performance. • Integrating Microsoft Sentinel with Teams via Logic Apps for real-time alerting and streamlined incident response. • Implementing SOC 2 compliance via Vanta, managing access reviews, role enforcement, and identity governance. • Designing and testing disaster recovery using Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup for business continuity. • Strengthening security posture through IPS, WAF, and Azure Firewall deployments • Automating infrastructure using Terraform and PowerShell scripts for RBAC, monitoring, and patching tasks. • Creating custom Azure roles via PowerShell/Azure CLI and enforced least privilege using IAM policies Desired Skill Sets • 3-4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, security, and automation. Proven expertise in managing scalable Azure environments using App Services, VMSS, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Logic Apps. • Experience in implementing security and compliance solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and SOC 2 controls. • Experience in scripting, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and proactive monitoring using N-able and Azure-native tools. Known for reducing incident response times and improving system resilience through well-architected automation and DR strategies.
