The company generated 2024 revenues of $3.6 billion. _ _ _ - **_Motion Technologies:_**_ (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. _ - **_Industrial Process:_**_ (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. _ - **_Connect and Control Technologies:_**_ (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets._ _ _ ### **_Position Summary_** • *_Major(s):_**_ Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Analytics, Junior or Senior year desired_ _ _ • *_Internship Schedule:_**_ Spring 2026, full-time, 40 hours per week_ • *_About the experience: _**_ Understand how to leverage and consolidate data from disparate systems, learn how to analyze and diagnose data (trends, dealing with structured / unstructured data, inconsistencies, outliers, master data), observe opportunities for the business to use actionable data to create value for business, and learn how to use reporting tools. _ ### **_Essential Responsibilities_** - _Learn operational dynamics of a constantly evolving, diversified manufacturing organization. _ - _Learn how different systems collaborate and help improve consolidation to generate a homogeneous data ecosystem _ - _Learn system usage and process workflows and diagram potential improvements _ - _Discover data integration and learn data flows among ERP’s, CRM’s, MES’s, PLM’s _ - _Develop functional specification requirements _ - _Understand Azure development process_ - _Convert existing Excel reports to Power BI _ - _How do different business units, operating on different systems and operating in different industries, standardize data? - How can you manage master data? _ - _Identify other reporting opportunities in underreported areas _ - _Identify bad data or missing data _ - _Help resolve manual reporting and provide integration suggestions to lower manual intervention _ - _Create centralized dashboards in Power BI _ - _Present solutions for manual processes _ - _Create Azure pipelines _ - _Performance review and feedback sessions_ _ _ _Safety is a core value at ITT.
