Azure Cloud Architect job at On-Demand Group. Eden Prairie, MN. On-Demand Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Architect for a 3+ month contract engagement. As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing cloud solutions, leveraging your deep experience in the software industry. Your versatile background in product development, evangelism, management, and consulting will be key assets in driving the success of our cloud initiatives. This role will require onsite work, only local candidates will be considered. Responsibilities: • MS Azure Cloud Evangelism: • Serve as a Microsoft Azure Cloud Evangelist, promoting the adoption of Azure services within the organization. • Leverage your expertise to advocate for the benefits of Azure and act as a subject matter expert. • Strategic Planning and Execution: • Lead efforts to strategize and execute plans that drive the adoption of the Azure Platform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies aligned with business objectives. • Adoption of Azure Platform: • Demonstrate a track record of successfully driving the adoption of Azure services. • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Azure solutions. • Delivery of Mission-Critical Applications: • Showcase a proven track record of delivering mission-critical applications on tight schedules. • Bring experience in delivering projects for both large and small companies, demonstrating adaptability to varying scales and complexities. • Collaboration and Leadership: • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective cloud solutions. • Provide leadership and guidance in implementing best practices for Azure architecture. Requirements: • Deep experience in the software industry with a diverse background in product development, evangelism, management, and consulting. • Recognized as a Microsoft Azure Cloud Evangelist and/or Microsoft Azure MVP. • Proven experience in leading efforts to strategize and execute plans for driving Azure Platform adoption. • Track record of delivering mission-critical applications on tight schedules for both large and small companies. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Relevant certifications in Azure architecture and development.
