Job Summary We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases, troubleshoot issues, and enhance our cloud computing capabilities. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment. • Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline operations and processes. • Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic and Splunk. • Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform. • Implement containerization technologies using Docker and Kubernetes. • Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments. • Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications. • Manage configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. • Support disaster recovery efforts and incident management processes. • Collaborate in an Agile environment to gather requirements and manage project timelines. Skills • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices. • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages including Python, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Go, Groovy, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, C#, Perl, SQL, T-SQL. • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DynamoDB. • Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware and OpenStack. • Understanding of network administration concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall configurations. • Knowledge of enterprise software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and software quality assurance practices. • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch or log analysis tools. • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical support and incident response.
