Business Development Director - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Enterprise (Consumer Products) Location : Central Time Zone Position Summary : RSM is looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to join our growing sales team and high-performing system integration consulting practice. This role focuses on selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation services and software across North America within the Consumer Products Industry. The Business Development Director will lead all aspects of the sales process, including prospect targeting, developing sales strategies, and leading pursuit teams. Responsibilities include building sales pipelines, preparing proposals, closing sales, and working closely with industry and line of business leaders to drive growth through prospecting, networking, and participation in industry groups. This position offers a competitive base salary and an uncapped incentive plan. Candidates should have a proven track record in selling consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. Responsibilities : • Sourcing and qualifying new Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform opportunities. • Executing the sales plan, coordinating resources to secure business. • Collaborating with the Practice Leader and Pre-Sales Solution Consultant on demonstrations. • Networking with industry contacts and professional groups. • Targeting key companies within industry teams. • Supporting cross-selling efforts with existing clients. • Developing go-to-market plans with marketing resources. • Providing feedback on market opportunities to sales leadership. • Developing relationships with Microsoft Field Resources. Basic Qualifications : • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • 7+ years in solution sales for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. • Experience with the Consumer Products industry and managing diverse teams. • Contacts within the middle market ($20M to $1B revenue). • Proven ability to close complex sales cycles. • Experience with CRM tools and social media for networking. • Strong negotiation, influence, and business skills. • Self-motivated with excellent time management. • Willingness to travel. Preferred Qualifications : • Relationships with Microsoft, especially in marketing and sales of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. • Active C-level network. • Community involvement and industry association activity. • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. • Experience with Big Four or similar firms is a plus.
