What You Will Be Doing: As a vital member of the Platform Engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our extensive application suite and cloud infrastructure. Your position as a DevOps Engineer will be pivotal in our transformation of cloud infrastructure management and application reliability. If you want to join a talented team and contribute to significant change, this role is for you. • Design and manage containerization solutions using platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, focusing on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA). • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines (CI/CD) utilizing GitHub. • Collaborate with the software development team to containerize existing applications and deploy them on Azure. • Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads in Azure. • Implement security best practices to ensure the security of containerized workloads. • Partner with SRE to enhance Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code disciplines. • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in containerization. • Document processes and configurations related to containerization efforts thoroughly. • Mentor team members in microservice architecture and container orchestration. To Be Successful, You Will Need: • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and 5+ years in overall cloud-native DevOps. • A DevOps/SRE mindset: you enjoy debugging complex systems and getting to the root of problems. • A knack for identifying and eliminating manual tasks through automation. • Expertise in scripting or programming languages, preferably PowerShell or Python. • A passion for automation with tools like Ansible and Terraform. • Proven experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker. • Strong understanding of deployment methodologies for Kubernetes, ideally ArgoCD and Helm. • Experience with various Azure services like Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Fabric. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines integrated with Git strategies (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines). • Knowledge of Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR API) and Azure Health Data Services (AHDS). • Experience using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrumban) to manage project work. • Excellent communication skills with a high level of transparency. • Bonus: Familiarity with other CNCF projects like Dapr, Flux, and KEDA. • A low ego and a team-first attitude. Technical Requirements: All employees must have high-speed internet of over 10 Mbps at home, with the capability to connect directly to the home internet router for call center employees. The expected base salary for this position is in the range of $110,000-130,000, with potential eligibility for a bonus based on predefined performance factors.
