Senior Network Administrator Full Time – On-site Sacramento, CA An established and employee-focused financial institution is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join its Information Technology team at the Sacramento, California, office. In this team-oriented environment, the Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the installation, administration, and maintenance of the organization's 24/7 enterprise-wide systems. This includes managing network infrastructure, server and hardware systems, security protocols, and providing end-user support. The role also involves mentoring Tier 1 & 2 support staff and optimizing IT systems to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business applications. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and users. Qualifications: Experience & Education • 3–5 years of relevant experience in network/system administration. • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications (Preferred but not Required): • Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft, or Azure. • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent experience. • Familiarity with CISSP principles. • Must hold a valid California driver's license. Technical Skills & Requirements: • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco network infrastructure including switches, VPNs, and firewalls. • Experience with Fortinet equipment is a plus. • Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/O365. • Hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization technologies. • Familiarity with hyperconverged environments is preferred. • Experience managing Windows Server 2019 environments; SQL Server 2016+ is a plus.
