System/Project Engineer MSP - Hybrid Up to $110k + Benefits + Career Growth Are you a Microsoft 365 expert ready to step into a consultative, client-facing role where your skills actually move the needle? We’re a fast-growing MSP based in Washington, DC supporting clients across legal, healthcare, finance, non-profit, and government-adjacent sectors. We’re seeking a System Engineer / Project Engineer to own cloud-centric projects, lead client rollouts, and act as a subject matter expert on all things Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune. You’ll join a team that’s built for problem-solvers and project-doers — people who know the MSP world, love variety, and are ready to be trusted with real responsibility. What You’ll Be Doing: • Leading M365 projects: migrations, hybrid environments, Intune rollouts, tenant-to-tenant setups • Managing Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and compliance/security policies • Consulting with clients on best practices for cloud infrastructure and endpoint management • Handling escalated issues from junior techs and resolving them with clarity and speed • Participating in client onboarding, environment assessments, and solution design • Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers on larger initiatives • Creating documentation, SOPs, and client-facing guides for long-term success Tech Stack You’ll Work With: • Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Compliance/Security • Azure & Azure AD: Hybrid identity, conditional access, security hardening • Intune / Endpoint Manager: Policy deployment, device management, and security • RMM/PSA Tools: ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, or similar • VMware / Hyper-V (light virtualization admin work) • Networking Tools: SonicWall, Meraki, Fortinet (basic understanding helpful) Why You’ll Love This Role: • Cloud-Focused Role - specialize in M365, Azure, and modern endpoint management • Mostly Remote Flexibility - work from home with periodic local client visits • Growth Path to Senior Engineer or Cloud Architect - we invest in your advancement • Variety of Clients, Constant Learning - every day brings new technical challenges • Collaborative Culture - work with a skilled, ego-free team that supports each other You’re a Fit If You Have: • 3+ years of experience in an MSP • Hands-on experience with M365 migrations and Intune deployments • Deep knowledge of Azure AD, Teams, Exchange Online, and endpoint security • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Located in the DC/MD/VA area and able to visit local clients when needed Compensation & Perks: • Salary - Up to $110,000 + Benefits + Career Growth • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid Time Off + Holidays • Certification reimbursement + cloud training • Tech stipend for home office setup • Collaborative, no-drama MSP culture • Clear path to more senior cloud-focused roles
