This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server technologies and related database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical systems. This individual must provide proof of qualifications via a resume. Key Responsibilities: • SQL System Management: Provide daily troubleshooting and support for all aspects of SQL Server and SQL Cluster environments. • Maintenance and Patches: Perform server maintenance, install software patches, conduct system setups and configurations, and perform advanced error triage. • Development and Management: Proficiently create and manage standalone SQL databases. Assist users with designing and building new SQL databases. • Maintenance and Triage: Respond to Requests for Changes (RFC) assigned for maintenance and FootPrints requests related to GBIS. Must be able to identify issues quickly. • Application Integration: Troubleshoot issues related to SQL databases and applications (e.g., SharePoint and others) where they intersect with database development, support, and management. Required Qualifications • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in database management. • Core Proficiency: Mandatory in MS SQL, SQL Server, and SQL Cluster Environments. • Cross-Platform Proficiency: Required in Oracle, Maria DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS Access. • Work Style and Communication: Must be able to work individually and as part of a team. Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and management.
