Position Name : Devops Engineer with strong Java Location: Charlotte, NC Position Type: Fulltime Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and scale applications. • Monitor application performance and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. • Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment strategies for Java + Spring Boot applications. • Assist in implementing and enforcing DevSecOps best practices across environments. • Troubleshoot issues in production environments and ensure high availability and reliability. • Contribute to internal tooling and automation to improve developer experience. Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering. • Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. • Proficiency with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). • Good understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
