We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join one of our largest clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining VMware version 6.7 on premise environment and future versions including all related tasks to properly support the Hypervisor and all Virtual machines and physical hardware- Windows Maintenance. This role requires configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and mitigating Microsoft Active Directory technologies. This is a long-term contract opportunity requiring work to be performed onsite in Chicago, IL. Qualifications • Must have 7 years of Microsoft/VMware/HP experience managing medium-to-large data centers and multi-site environments and all related technology within- HW/SW and platforms. • Must have experience with SCCM\Intune to monitor, manage and deploy software and settings to computer/user objects. • Must have good documentation skills- projects, procedures and tasks. • Advanced skills with Active Directory technologies (DNS, DHCP, GPO, AD replication, etc.) • Experience with Microsoft Azure desired. • VMware Certified Professional 6.x and Data Center Virtualization desired. • Certification preferred (MCSE, VCP-DCV, Azure, AWS, etc.). • Experience with Mimecast email archiving desirable. • Experience with Amazon Web Services desirable. • Ability to easily communicate with all levels of personnel and management. • Ability to self-direct, prioritize work assignments, etc. • Ability to create/modify documentation as required. • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship • Must demonstrate a can-do attitude We focus on candidates that display our ACE factor Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.
