Position: Engineering Manager - APIs and Software Development with Security Clearance Our Deloitte AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients' success. Work You'll Do As a Project Delivery Manager on the project, you will: • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives. • Collaborate with business units and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements. • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to align priorities and manage expectations. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product adoption, reliability, and business impact. • Drive ongoing enhancements to the product based on user feedback, analytics, and emerging technology trends. • Ensure comprehensive documentation of product, processes, and features for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ensure the platform adheres to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required: • Bachelor's degree • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role • 5+ years of experience in engineering management or IT project management, preferably with API platforms or integration technologies. • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments. • Experience leading development teams Preferred: • Experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure). • Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects or products in an Agile environment. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops) and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with security, authentication, and authorization standards (e.g., OAuth, JWT) is a plus. • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, security, and business stakeholders. • Previous experience implementing complex API solutions for Federal health clients. • Previous experience delivering high-availability systems. • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and API management tools.
