Position: Sr. System Administrator (SIPR) Join to apply for the Sr. System Administrator (SIPR) role at Raytheon Onsite, 100% full‑time in AZ805: RMS AP Bldg 805, Tucson, AZ. U.S. citizenship required for a Secret clearance. The role supports classified systems. About the Position The Digital Technology (DT) organization ensures Raytheon teammates worldwide can communicate, collaborate, and innovate for customer success. This Senior System Administrator works within the infrastructure Workplace Services team, supporting critical classified programs. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, cost‑efficient environments across multiple classified programs. What You Will Do • Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment supporting SIPR and other information systems. • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Windows Server internals, including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication. • Work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve moderate‑to‑high complexity hardware and OS integration problems. • Understand RAID, backup, and data protection technologies; install and configure end‑user applications. • Coordinate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements. • Document and train on advanced IT processes and procedures as assigned. • Obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date. • Maintain on‑call operations 24/7 and occasionally work beyond standard hours. • Travel up to 5% as required. Qualifications You Must Have • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, minimum 2+ years of relevant experience. • Active transferable U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required. • Experience with SIPR, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, MySQL, and networking administration. • Experience with system hardening and security compliance. • Proficiency in scripting and operating system certification desirable. Qualifications We Prefer • DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and operating system certification. • Experience with Trellix Host Base Security System (HBSS), ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS), DLP. • Familiarity with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and DoD/ RMF. • Experience with NAS, SAN, and storage technologies. • Project lifecycle management experience. • Experience with vSphere, ESX, or virtualization platforms. • Knowledge of Comply to Connect, Forescout, and Zero Trust authentication technologies. • Proficiency in scripting technologies.
