Key Responsibilities: Human Resources (Approx. 60%) • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and exit interviews. • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. • Support benefits administration, timekeeping, and leave tracking (including FMLA and PTO). • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communications. • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. • Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. IT Support (Approx. 40%) • Assist in supporting network devices and connectivity, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and applications needed • Ensures the computer/equipment inventory system is accurately maintained and the IT room maintains a clean and orderly condition • Accurately read and interpret Helpdesk related tickets assigned by the IT Director and respond, troubleshoot and resolve in a timely manner • Troubleshoot computer, printer and equipment errors and malfunctions as they arise • Field user requests submitted via phone, e-mails or in person as needed and escalate to the IT Director where appropriate • Setup meeting spaces requested by management or staff prior to meeting or event with specified equipment, software and/or teleconferencing required by the organizer • Communication with end users as required: keeping them informed properly in ticketing system of incident or request progress and notifying them of current and ongoing status Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. • 2+ years of experience in HR, IT support, or a similar administrative role. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS and ticketing systems. • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Preferred Skills: • Experience with platforms like iSolved, or similar HR systems. • Familiarity with Windows operating system. • Knowledge of basic IT security practices.
