What You Will Be Doing: The selected candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of .NET-based web and Windows applications and services. Responsibilities could include all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment. This position is part of a professional but relaxed team environment and involves collaboration with and supporting other team members. This is a work-from-home position but will require occasional face-to-face meetings with clients and team members. Key Responsibilities: Development and maintenance of .NET-based web and Windows applications and services. Involvement in all aspects of the software development life cycle: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment. Collaboration with and supporting other team members. Required Skills & Experience: Proficient in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based solutions. Proficient at troubleshooting problems. Proficient in object-oriented design and development. 5+ years of professional experience in software development. Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Languages/Frameworks: ASP.NET Core, .NET 6, SQL, Azure/AWS. Other: Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum Practices, working knowledge of spreadsheets, local to the greater St. Louis area, able to meet in person with team members and clients as needed, basic understanding of GIT version control. Desired Skills & Experience: Self-motivated. Analytical and detail-oriented. Able to communicate fluently in English. Able to work alone or as part of a team as circumstances dictate. Tools: Microsoft Azure Portal, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Languages/Frameworks: Visual Basic (ASP.NET), ReactJS, jQuery, Ajax, XML. Other: Basic accounting knowledge, E-commerce knowledge & experience, Windows application development. Pay: $52.50 - $75.00 /hr.
