In this role, you'll oversee core infrastructure, security, and compliance while driving automation and efficiency. Your work directly supports client onboarding, DevOps continuity, and compliance initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Azure Infrastructure Management: Administer VNets, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring systems daily. • Security & Monitoring Optimization: Fine-tune Microsoft Defender XDR, Purview, and Sentinel to maximize threat protection and visibility. • Identity & Collaboration Integrations: Implement and manage Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 integrations. • Escalation Point: Own escalated infrastructure issues to prevent leadership involvement in firefighting. • Compliance Leadership: Proactively maintain configurations for HITRUST, SOC, and HIPAA compliance. • Infrastructure Strategy: Lead Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Terraform) automation for reliability, scale, and configuration management. • Cross‑Functional Support: Act as the go‑to support for onboarding and provide DevOps backup during critical periods. • Disaster Recovery & Cost Efficiency: Drive planning and monitoring for recovery, business continuity, and cost optimization. Qualifications • 5+ years in Azure cloud infrastructure administration, including VNets, firewalls, and hybrid networking architectures. • Proficiency with Microsoft security stack (Defender XDR, Purview, Sentinel) and identity tools (Entra ID, M365). • Experienced in maintaining HITRUST, SOC, and HIPAA environments—or equivalent regulated sector compliance. • Skilled in IaC (ARM/BICEP templates, Terraform) and scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI). • Strong communicator and collaborative problem-solver, comfortable in fast-paced, regulated settings. • Azure-focused certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Security Engineer Associate preferred.
