Job description

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer to design, implement, and optimize data and analytics solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role requires strong expertise in data integration, analytics, and reporting, along with excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities: • Design and manage scalable solutions with Azure Cosmos DB, leveraging multiple APIs (particularly for NoSQL) and working effectively with JSON data. • Implement and optimize Azure Synapse Analytics, including the use of Synapse Link for Cosmos DB to enable near real-time analytics without impacting transactional workloads. • Build, automate, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into Synapse. • Develop, deploy, and support Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with business requirements. • Work with Spark Pools and PySpark (or similar languages) to perform complex data transformations within Synapse. • Deliver advanced analytics solutions through expertise in: • * Data Modeling • * DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) • * Power Query • * Report & Dashboard Development • * SQL Qualifications: • Proven experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including NoSQL APIs and JSON data. • Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics and Synapse Link. • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for data ingestion, transformation, and integration. • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, Power Query, report and dashboard development, and SQL. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Experience with Spark Pools and PySpark or other data transformation languages.
