Job Responsibilities –The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be part of Cloud business enablement squad which works on automation and configuration as code for foundational architecture related to connectivity across multiple Cloud Service Providers. They should have a strong background in infrastructure and Public Cloud technologies. They will be a part of the global team and will be responsible for connecting complex, multi-tier applications from on-prem to the Public Cloud. They will be closely working with Product Management and Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services to meet customer expectations. Role Overview & Expectations:Self-organized, with team members expected to proactively assign themselves work (as opposed to being directed what to do). Work is made visible via completed user stories, clearing out updates during Daily Scrums, etc. Some of the roles specific day-to-day operations include but are not limited toExperience in Kubernetes and Container-based technologies. Working on Landing Zone components,Creating automation code through Terraform, Shell scripting.Strong development skills in Python, Golang, JavaWorking on Azure services, such as Vnet, Network Security Group, User Defined Routing, Firewall changes, Private links etc.o API Management, Application gateway, App service environment, App services, Storage accounts, Key vaults, Azure Data factories etc.Azure policies, Azure Active Directory, Identity And Access Management etc.On-premises to cloud configurationsWorking with third party tool such as Splunk, Spring cloud gateway, Akamai, F5 will be a great plusoEstablish security guardrails around Infrastructure, Platform, as well as Software services of AzureWorking with customer security teams to recommend & implement best practices for the clous services being used by the business teamsWorking with Gibhut Actions and Azure DevOps pipeline and repositoriesYAML based pipeline configuration and best practicesReview internal customer/business unit use case requirements and able to provide consulting on onboarding them to AzureWork with Microsoft support as needed Qualified Candidate MUST haveOverall 7+years of experience in IT industryShould be an excellent communicator and ability to lead by example3-5 years of experience working in Azure cloud platformAzure Active Directoryo App registrationo Identity and Access management (IAM)Management Groups and Subscriptions, Policies, Tagging , automation runbook o Replications, Multi-region deploymentsHands-on implementation experience in Azure infrastructure Service offerings such as Vnet, NSGs, UDRs, ASGs, Azure Firewall configurations, Peering, Hub and Spoke topology, Virtual Machines life cycle management etc.Hands-on implementation experience in Azure Platform Service offeringsSuch as API Management, API Gateway, App Service Environment, Storage Accounts, Key vault, Data Bricks, etc.Hands-on implementation experience in Azure Software Service offerings such as SQL Managed instance, Logic Apps, Functions etc.Candidate with equivalent AWS services will be considered (AWS Beanstalk, API Gateway, AWS KMS, S3, VPC, VPC Private Enpoint, IAM Roles)Hands-on experience in coding, deploying, and validating the IaC (Infrastructure as Code) solution through Terraform/GolangExtensive experiences with GitHub Actions pipelineExcellent knowledge on creating, configuring, and managing AzDo pipeline, Repository and security isolation.Good understanding in implementing access controls on Azure services across cloud platform i.e. IaaS, PaaS and SaaS Qualified Candidate NICE to havePrior cloud consulting experienceExperiences with third party cloud security platform like Palo Alto Prisma Cloud SecurityPrior working knowledge on Splunk, Spring cloud gateway, Akamai, F5Implementing Landing Zone for complex enterpriseExperience in implementing High-availability, Disaster Recovery scenarioValid Azure Certification.
