Description We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale Azure solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture, security, and operational efficiency. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to cloud infrastructure maturity and innovation. Responsibilities: - Design and manage Azure solutions that align with industry best practices and meet organizational needs. - Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure cloud solutions effectively support business objectives. - Lead efforts to migrate on-premises infrastructure to Azure, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. - Monitor system performance and ensure a high-quality experience for internal and external users. - Implement robust security measures to safeguard cloud services and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Continuously analyze cloud environments, recommend optimizations, and manage cost efficiency. - Develop and enforce best practices for Microsoft Entra ID and Azure PaaS/IaaS services to support IT and cloud maturity. - Create and test resilience and recovery plans to ensure business continuity during outages. - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize operations. - Automate processes using tools like Azure Automation, PowerShell, and PowerAutomate to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure, with expertise in enforcing best practices. - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and Azure Resource Manager templates. - Strong knowledge of Azure security tools like Azure Key Vault and Azure Security Center, with expertise in implementing security standards. - Experience in hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD. - Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation and infrastructure management. - Solid understanding of cloud networking, including virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers. - Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems in Azure environments. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience; Azure certifications are highly desirable.
