ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated and knowledgeable zure Engineer/Developer (Full Stack) to join our team. The senior Azure Engineer/Developer will actively advise and participate in the architecture and hands-on development and implementation of high-visible Drupal websites on Azure Cloud. The candidate should have extensive hands-on Azure and Drupal solutioning and development experience and be well-versed in SDLC, the complete Azure cloud services with full stack development, database, application security and containerization including Docker and Kubernetes. This opening is for a full-time salaried position, and all the work must be performed at ITCON HQ located in Vienna, VA or at client site located in Washington DC. Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop Drupal applications, including custom modules, themes, and headless Drupal implementations. • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker containers, Azure Front Door, and Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF). • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git repositories, runners, and Azure DevOps to automate testing, deployment, and delivery. • Ensure application and infrastructure security through best practices, including implementing access controls and WAF policy configuration. • Design and implement database solutions including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Azure Database services to support Drupal applications optimally. • Develop and maintain full stack features using PHP, JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React), HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, and relational databases. • Integrate applications using API for workflow automation and data orchestration. • Design and development experience of mobile applications • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize system performance, and integrate third-party systems and data sources. • Maintain detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration workflows. • Monitor and tune application health, performance, and cost efficiency with Azure monitoring tools. • Collaborate with the team to translate requirements and user stories into functional code • Identify critical dependencies and solve technical challenges • Support the deployment process including post-deployment review of logs for errors At ITCON, we offer competitive compensation, paid training and development opportunities, healthcare benefits that start on your first day, commuter benefits, work-life balance, and the opportunity to work alongside an amazing and growing team. Required Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field • 7+ years in software development with solid experience in development. • 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud technologies including AKS, Docker, Azure Front Door, Azure WAF, and Azure database services. • 3+ years of hands-on design and development of Drupal websites experience on Azure Cloud • 3+ years of Full stack development skills in PHP, JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React), HTML, CSS, and RESTful API design. • Experience with automation and configuration management • Proficiency in Linux/Windows Administration • Knowledge working with object relational mapping framework • Knowledge and experience with Agile and Test-Driven development methodologies • Experience integrating Active Directory authentication in the application • Experience with mobile application design and development • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) • Working knowledge of Git • Expert-level SQL knowledge • Self-starter and ability to work as part of a team Desired Skills • Experience with headless Drupal and decoupled frontend architectures. • Microsoft Azure certifications or relevant cloud certifications. • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
