We are a personable IT consulting company that provides professional and courteous consulting services to a wide variety of business clients across the state of Kentucky. We do require applicants live in the Central KY region as 2+ days a week will be required in office and onsite visits will be necessary at times. Job Description Window's Server Administrator is a full-time, salary position. Benefits include paid time off (PTO), 401(k), and health insurance. Hours are generally Mon-Fri 8:00AM – 5:00PM. He/she will be responsible for various projects and activities which include hybrid remote/in-office work and onsite as needed. Duties include, but not limited to: • Office 365 Support – Outlook, Office Suite, email migrations, DNS Management • Mobile device management (iPads, iPhones) • Microsoft Entra – Configuration and management of tenants utilizing industry standard best practices • Backups – setup, configure, and monitor file and system level backups • Windows servers – setup, configure and deploy physical/virtual servers (including but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, file/folder permissions and folder redirection) ***must be exceptionally strong in this area • Networking – configure, test, and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, and access points • Cabling – ability to test and terminate cable (Cat5E, Cat6) Physical demands include: • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform frequent lifting or carrying of objects that may be bulky, such as a ladder • Ability to drive to customer sites Our growth comes from our history of building solid relationships with customers, so good interpersonal skills are a must for anyone applying for this position.
