Compensation Range:62,700-80,000 Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose The Networking Administrator II provides technical support for end-users with an emphasis on maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of our network systems, and providing advanced technical support to end-users. Interacts closely with server/storage, cybersecurity, and help desk teams to resolve network issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Manage and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other related equipment. Perform routine network updates, patches, and configurations. Document network configurations, procedures, and policies. Provide Level 2 support for network-related issues, escalating to Level 3 support or external vendors as needed. Work closely with the IT Help Desk and other IT teams to resolve technical problems quickly and effectively. Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Maintain accurate records of network incidents, changes, and performance metrics. Enforce and follow EnerSys policies and procedures Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Education and/or Experience • Minimum of 2 years help desk or PC related experience • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a related role. Language Skills • Ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English Language. • Ability to speak/read/write English. Mathematical Skills • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Reasoning Ability • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Computer Skills • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, etc. • Proficiency in network security practices and tools. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (Server & Workstation) and Microsoft Office Suite • Working knowledge of PC hardware and printing systems • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Other Skills and Abilities • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to follow and create project plans as directed by the IT management and provide quantifiable project updates throughout the project • Ability to efficiently use time and resou
