Job Summary – SQL Server And Cloud Administrator • Location: Madison Ave, NY and Jersey City, NJ (4 days onsite required; local candidates only) • Work Schedule: Onsite in NYC 4 days/week, remote on Fridays • Experience Required: • 10+ years in IT services • 8+ years as SQL DBA (implementation, production support, projects) • 5+ years as L3/SME support • 5+ years in client-facing roles and on-call support • Mandatory investment banking/equities experience • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from a US institution • Technical Skills: • Senior-level SQL Server DBA (large/critical environments) • Performance tuning (server/query level), knowledge of perfmon, DMVs • Expertise in SQL internals, partitioning, compression • Experience with mirroring, replication, Always ON, clustering • Scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell, or Python); automation experience • SSIS, SSRS, SSAS; SQL Server permission/security policies • Documentation skills (MS SharePoint 2010/2013) • Minimum 6 months AWS Cloud RDS • Preferred/Additional Skills: • MySQL and Linux experience • Azure and Snowflake exposure • Certifications: MS SQL Server (latest versions) preferred • Other Requirements: Excellent communication, valid LinkedIn profile Summary Seeking a senior SQL Server and Cloud Administrator to support investment banking equities, with deep technical expertise in SQL Server (including cloud and automation), strong documentation and client-facing skills, and proven experience in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
