Duties assigned to this position also include supervision of the SQL database and PCWeb application (C#), plus the interface and liaison with Data Management & Business Intelligence on the proprietary application, Clipper. You will also support the development of innovative processes within Project Controls and participate in initiative implementation. • Develop, train, mentor and inspire junior project personnel on best practices in Clipper, PCWeb, Advanced Excel applications and other innovative tools. • Streamline and automate Project Controls and Construction reporting. • Design and development of business intelligence and data analytical dashboards and visualizations. • Design and develop reports. • Design and develop complex data models connecting into CNS' tools. • Perform cost engineering, analysis, and control activities. PC organizational and administrative activities when delegated. • Support studies, forecasts and problem-solving exercises as required. • Support planning studies, forecasts, problem-solving exercises as required. • Performs schedule data analysis, identifies problems, and assists with recommendations. • Cross-train and share best practices to project personnel. • Interface with designated management and counterparts. A minimum of 12 years of directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. • Candidate must also have at least 3 years of experience with SQL Databases, C# programming, and at least 2 years of experience working with the .net Framework system • Proficiency in using several basic software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project requirements • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, which includes verification of employment and education • Must be able to obtain site security badge for access to work site Preferred Job Requirements • Experience in C# programming in a Microsoft .Net Framework on an SQL server • Proven attention to detail and quality focused • Skilled in understanding technical processes and interpreting technical requirements • Experience with the DOE Earned Value Management System (EVMS) • Preferred experience with degree 7+ years • Advanced experience with data objects and their relationships for Applications • Advanced experience with Tableau, SAP, Oracle, MS Excel and other Business Intelligence tools • Ability to understand system requirements and translate them into dashboard design actions • Advanced experience in databases and ability to build complex data models • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated ability to work well in a team within a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications at all levels of the organization in both technical and non-technical matters • Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision • Demonstrates an understanding of Project Controls general technical skills • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes • Experience in performing, monitoring, controlling, and reviewing cost engineering functions, such as cost estimating, cost control, financial reporting systems, and cost analysis • Project Controls Cost Certification
