Job description

Responsibilities: Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. Build efficient data models and visualizations using Power BI Desktop. Write DAX expressions and use Power Query for data transformation. Integrate data from various sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, etc.). Perform ETL processes to prepare data for reporting. Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements. Manage Power BI service: publishing, scheduling, workspaces, and access control. Implement role-level security and ensure data governance standards are met. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL. Experience with enterprise databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL). Strong understanding of BI concepts, data modeling, and ETL. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, or SSIS. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (optional). Experience integrating APIs with Power BI. Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
