Network Administrator Location: St Louis, Park (Hybrid ) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, installing and configuring applications and hardware, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: 1. Managing Windows, Mac, and Linux Systems: • Administer and maintain Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. • Perform regular updates, patches, and system enhancements. • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability. 2. Installing and Configuring Applications and Hardware: • Install, configure, and manage software applications and hardware components. • Handle software installations, updates, and integrations in line with company policies. • Manage Mac Endpoint Management solutions to ensure efficient operation and security. 3. Troubleshooting Issues and Providing Technical Support: • Provide comprehensive technical support and resolve issues for end-users. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems. • Document, track, and escalate complex issues when necessary. 4. Ensuring the Security and Efficiency of IT Infrastructure: • Implement and maintain security measures, including SSL Certificates, to protect data and systems. • Configure tools for regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. • Optimize system performance and ensure the efficient operation of IT infrastructure. Specific Technologies Required: • Web and Application Server Management: Manage web and application servers to ensure smooth operation and high availability. • SSL Certificates: Manage and renew SSL Certificates to ensure secure communications. • Mac Endpoint Management: Administer Mac Endpoint Management solutions for security and compliance. • Exchange Server: Manage and maintain Exchange Server for email services. • SFTP: Configure and maintain Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) services. • VMware: Deploy and manage VMware virtualization technologies. Preferred Skills • Apache: Configure and maintain Apache web servers. • Varonis: Experience configuring Varonis for data security and analytics. • Rapid7: Experience configuring Rapid7 for vulnerability management and incident detection. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. • Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software. • Familiarity with network protocols and security measures. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Preferred Skills: • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or relevant vendor certifications. • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell). #DICE dcole@c4techservices.com
