Ascendum Solutions is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their M365 Team, focusing on delivering custom Microsoft Power Platform Solutions. The role involves leading clients, coordinating application design, and leveraging Power Platform and Microsoft 365 to improve business processes. Responsibilities • Deliver services and solutions for clients using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint Modern, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, AI Builder, Microsoft Viva, Co-Pilot, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), Azure DevOps, and Dynamics CRM. • Lead and coordinate application design and planning with other Packaged Software team members • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand the client’s pain points and adapt as challenges arise. • Use connectors of all sorts to connect disparate systems to Power Platform applications and be able to suggest and guide development of APIs for Line of Business applications that do not have native connectors. • Identify areas and processes where Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement. • Collaborate with the QA team to define test cases, metrics and resolve questions about test results • Knowledge of change management and use of Azure DevOps for Power Platform • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned • Work on various projects for our customers which include: • Canvas applications • Model driven applications and custom JavaScript. • Power Page portals • Automate business functions with Power Automate • Improve business function with Power Virtual Agents (Chat Bots) • Building AI Models while utilizing Co-Pilot • Implementing Center of Excellence for Power Platform • Training Plans for 'In A Day' Client Led Training Sessions • Build Reporting Dashboards utilizing PowerBI. • Power Platform Governance • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) • Migrate from on premise solutions into M365. • Building Modern SharePoint Cloud Solutions. Skills • Candidates should be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without needing Visa sponsorship. • Work is based in EST time zone. • M365 Administration where the candidate must be either a SharePoint Admin or Power Platform Admin. • Power Suite and Power App Development experience. • Dataverse – configuring tables, relationships, forms, business rules and formulas. • Dynamics CRM solutions – customizing Microsoft solutions like CRM. • Canvas Apps development for SharePoint, SQL, Mobile and Dataverse backends. • Model Driven Apps – for Business management. • JavaScript and HTML. • SharePoint administration and development including Migrations, departmental apps and Intranets. • Power Platform Environment set up and configuration of security, permissions, etc. • Data Flows. • Power Automate workflows. • SQL. • PowerBI.
