Overview Indoor AgTech Software Engineer — Cloud & Edge IoT We’re on the hunt for a future-focused engineer who thrives at the intersection of cloud platforms, edge computing, and sustainable agriculture. What You'll Build You’ll design and deploy intelligent IoT solutions leveraging Azure-IoT technology to support autonomous farming environments. Think sensors, vision systems, machine learning at the edge, and robust data pipelines that help plants thrive—no green thumb required, just sharp code. • Sensor networks for soil, climate, and nutrient monitoring • Real-time data acquisition and processing from smart sensors • Cloud- services for device management, analytics, and ML inference • Edge deployments that enable low-latency decision-making in greenhouses and vertical farms Desired Skills / Experience Experience Designing, Creating and Coding IoT focused software systems that incorporate Cameras (computer vision, recording, etc.) combined with AI technology. Python, C/C++ and Rust (a plus) Edge &IoT Tools • Azure IoT Edge Dev Tool, Docker, Azure CLI • AWS IoT Core, AWS Green grass, AWS IoT Device SDK • Google Cloud IoT Core, Cloud Functions, Edge TPU Cloud & Data • Azure SQL Edge, Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage Protocols • MQTT, OPC-UA, LoRaWAN • Familiarity with Modbus, Zigbee, BLE (a plus) Intelligence & Analytics • Azure Machine Learning, ONNX, Stream Analytics • AWS Sage Maker, IoT Analytics • GCP Vertex AI, Dataflow Sensor Data & Connectivity • Experience integrating smart sensors with cloud IoT platforms • Building pipelines to ingest, process, and visualize sensor data • Custom firmware or edge logic for sensor calibration and control AgTech Integrations • Azure Data Manager for Agriculture (Farm Beats), Digital Twin • Familiarity with greenhouse automation systems and indoor farming protocols Pluses • Prior experience in smart building systems including Smart-Cameras combined with industrial IoT, or indoor farming software • A passion for sustainability and indoor food production • Interest in working for a fast-moving startup with equity potential Apply Today Note: salary will flex in order to compensate for a benefits package; this is a startup environment with salary + equity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
