We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with SHLD, Inc., for our Chantilly, VA location. Looking ONLY for candidates with an active TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance The Azure cloud director is responsible for managing, monitoring and deploying highly available, highly scalable applications for one or more environments/systems and work as a member of the Agile/Scrum team daily for the maintenance, upkeep and integrity of these environments. Provide expertise in the use of Azure Cloud reference architectures and solutions to support software development in a DevOps environment. Leverage the applications of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field and apply general knowledge of other related disciplines. Support technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Provide analysis for approach to solutions. Work closely with other engineering teams. Responsibilities and Duties • Provide guidance and expertise on Azure cloud migrations • Design and implement full-stack, in-house solutions to streamline the process of deploying and monitoring applications • Be devoted to knowing the latest trends and solutions to Azure cloud migrations • Qualifications and Skills Skills • Experience with working in DoD, IC, or commercial cloud environment • Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows • Experience in troubleshooting very complex distributed environments, including following stack traces back to code to determine root cause analysis • Experience with running Internet facing or auto-deployed environments while adhering to service level agreements • Agile Development, Cloud systems, or ITIL related Certifications • Experience within the IC/DoD a plus • Educational & Work Experience Requirements • Bachelor's degree/6 years' experience Location: Chantilly, VA Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Shld, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
