ActioNet has an opportunity for a Windows Systems Administrator – Disaster Recovery requiring a SECRET clearance in Vienna, VA. The Windows Systems Administrator – Disaster Recovery supports Treasury’s mission-critical infrastructure by administering and maintaining Windows server environments with a focus on disaster recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP). This position plays a key role in ensuring system availability, resilience, and security through proactive maintenance, testing, and incident response activities. The individual will provide hands-on technical expertise in supporting backup, failover, and restoration processes for enterprise systems. Duties and Responsibilities • Administer and maintain Windows server infrastructure supporting TSDN operations. • Perform system backups, restorations, and disaster recovery testing. • Monitor system performance and apply patches, updates, and security baselines. • Support DR/COOP exercises, ensuring readiness of servers and applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated server incidents. • Maintain documentation for system recovery procedures and configurations. • Support enterprise virtualization and storage environments as needed. Basic Qualifications (Required) • Secret clearance with favorable T-3 investigation. • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline. • 5+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments. • Hands-on experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., EMC Networker, Data Domain). • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. • Knowledge of IT disaster recovery and continuity of operations planning. • Ability to work in 24/7 mission-critical environments. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or MCSE. • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell. • Experience with SAN/NAS administration and enterprise backup systems. • Prior federal agency IT support experience.
