About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure and DevOps lifecycle. In this critical role, you'll design, scale, and secure our cloud-native architecture, which supports distributed microservices and AI-driven business automation workflows. If you are enthusiastic about containerization, automation, and modern cloud networking, this position is tailored for you. Key Responsibilities: • Design and manage Azure-native infrastructure for a multi-tenant SaaS application. • Build and maintain containerized deployments using Kubernetes/AKS. • Oversee CI/CD workflows (build, test, promote) across multiple environments. • Implement network-level security policies and service-to-service communication patterns. • Configure scalable, observable systems utilizing modern monitoring/logging stacks. • Collaborate with engineers to enhance performance and scalability of distributed services. • Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning across cloud resources. • Participate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and security assessments for cloud infrastructure. Required Skills: • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles. • In-depth expertise with Microsoft Azure services, such as: • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Azure VNETs, Private Endpoints, and NSGs • Azure Key Vault, Blob Storage, App Gateway • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep. • Familiarity with distributed tracing, monitoring, and alerting. • Experience designing secure, highly available, zero-trust cloud networks. • Ability to optimize resource utilization and cost-efficiency across infrastructure environments. • Comprehensive knowledge of managing secrets, identities, and service principals in Azure. • Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and secure API exposure in Azure projects. • Willingness to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs. • Leadership experience in overseeing complex, multi-stream initiatives and managing relationships with C-level stakeholders. • Experience in developing and scaling service offerings and go-to-market strategies for enhanced revenue and client retention. • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, mentoring talent and managing performance evaluations. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment patterns (e.g., blue-green, canary). • Scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation tasks. • Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Solutions Architect Expert. The salary range for this role reflects a variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including skills, experience, and business needs.
