.NET Developer Hybrid - Tampa, FL Our utility client is seeking a developer with strong experience in .NET development and SQL Server to support and enhance key Energy Supply applications. This position plays a critical role in the development and support of custom applications, including WorkMan, GenMan, System Reliability, and others. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of senior team members, participating in both new development and production support activities. Job Duties: • Design, develop, and maintain custom .NET applications used in Energy Supply operations • Provide day-to-day production support and troubleshooting for internal and vendor-supported applications • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, support) • Create and consume RESTful web services using ASP.NET Web API • Develop user interfaces using ASP.NET Blazor, Win Forms, and Web Forms • Conduct technical and functional unit testing to ensure code quality • Create pull requests that meet internal quality gates, including documentation, code coverage, and peer review • Review and provide feedback on code submitted by peers • Collaborate in Agile or Kanban environments with cross-functional teams • Modify or create NuGet packages as needed • Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for version control and CI/CD processes • Support applications using Telerik UI components Requirements: • Proficient in C# .NET v8, .NET Core, and .NET Standard • Proficient with the Visual Studio development environment • Strong experience with ASP.NET Blazor, Win Forms, and Web Forms • Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS2/3 • Strong experience with T-SQL • Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Web API) • Experience with Git and Azure DevOps (pull requests, gated builds, pipelines) • Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates • Experience with technical and functional unit testing • Experience creating or modifying NuGet packages • Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments • Familiarity with Telerik components • Experience supporting third-party or vendor-based applications • Strong communication and peer collaboration skills
