Akkodis is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer local to Costa Mesa, CA. If you are interested, please apply! RESPONSIBILIES: • Design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available, and scalable Azure-based infrastructure, focusing on a security-first approach. • Integrate security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), automating vulnerability scanning (SAST, DAST, SCA) and compliance checks. • Collaborate with development and security teams to embed security controls and best practices, promoting a "shift-left" security culture. • Manage, maintain, and secure Azure DevOps environments, including repositories, pipelines, and access controls. • Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash), including security monitoring and compliance checks. • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure-based systems for performance, capacity, and security issues using tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) with a focus on security best practices. • Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans with strong security considerations in the Azure environment. • Stay up to date with emerging trends in Azure, DevSecOps, and security best practices, advocating for continuous improvement. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of security and best practices within the team. • Enforce security policies and access controls in the Azure environment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). REQUIRED SKILLS: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps roles, with a strong focus on Azure cloud platforms. • Proficiency in Azure services, including IaaS, Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and other relevant security and compute services. • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies, including Azure Pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks. • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash). • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep, with a focus on secure configurations. • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS). • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM) and network security. • Knowledge of industry security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI DSS). • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's Degree • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate). • Experience with security tools like SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, or similar. • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) “Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
