Responsible for leading department initiatives into success through hands-on actions combined with leading and managing others. Will leverage their experience and leadership skills to drive executive initiatives to success and mentoring other members of the team. Responsibilities • Champion GTM owned data warehouse, utilizing industry standards to manage data mining and optimizing accessibility to all consumers • Possess elite drive and attention to detail to provide positive support to the team and effectively lead projects. • Act as the subject matter with automation projects, working solely with multiple stakeholders to devise and implement solutions to drive efficiency. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for informed decision-making. Leverage data-science practices to include machine learning, as needed to enhance the information gathering processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations. • Oversee documentation and version control to maximize the efficiency and sustainability to new and existing solutions. Make suggestions and integrate new philosophies as needed. • Lead team training and development concepts to address weaknesses and also develop strengths • Stay up to date on current and upcoming technology to ensure that the GTM tech-stack always be an asset. Engage with vendors and other leaders to gather information or complete testing • Coach, develop and mentor junior members of the team. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or Computer Science - Preferred • Master's Degree in Data Science or Computer Science - Preferred • 5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering or Similar. • 5 years of experience in SQL, Python, C# or Similar. • 3 years of experience in Administering on premise or cloud data platforms like MS SQL Server, MS Azure, Snowflake or similar. • 3 years of experience in Advance data management and designing data pipelines. • 2 years of experience in Leading others as a technical subject matter expert. Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $120,000.00-$165,500.00 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
