Power BI Developer with Infor ERP Backend - (ISI-00062) Job Title: Power BI Developer with Infor ERP Backend Experience Location: Remote / Onsite as needed (Preference for candidates with flexibility for occasional client visits) Industry: Food Chain Distribution Employment Type: Contract to Hire (C2H) Experience Level: Mid to Senior-Level About the Role: We are seeking a Power BI Developer who has deep experience in reporting and dashboard development using Microsoft Power BI and strong technical understanding of Infor ERP backend tables . This role is critical for developing real-time, visually engaging analytics solutions by pulling data directly from various Infor modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, HR, Customer Service) used in a complex food chain distribution environment . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using data from Infor ERP systems . Understand and work with Infor ERP backend tables, data structures, and business logic across various modules like: Finance (Accounts Payable/Receivable, GL) Supply Chain & Logistics HR and Payroll Develop optimized data models, DAX calculations , and relationships to support reporting needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements , define KPIs, and design intuitive dashboards that support business decisions. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance tuning of queries fetching from Infor ERP databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, DB2). Create and manage data pipelines, views, and stored procedures as needed to support report generation. Provide documentation and training to users on using and interpreting dashboards. Troubleshoot and debug issues with data accuracy and performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Power BI dashboard development. 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Infor ERP data structures (M3, CloudSuite, LN, or similar). Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and perform data extraction and transformation from Infor backend systems. Proven knowledge of Infor ERP database schema and business logic behind tables and modules. Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language) , and model optimization. Experience working with large datasets from ERP platforms and ensuring performance efficiency. Familiarity with Infor Birst is a plus. Knowledge of the food distribution industry operations is strongly preferred. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Infor M3 or CloudSuite backend . Previous reporting/BI work within food service, logistics, or distribution sectors . Experience with ETL tools and building custom connectors. Certification in Power BI or related Microsoft analytics tools.
