Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Open to candidates who are willing to relocate) Compensation: $140K–$160K + Annual Bonus Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time MOGEL RPO is seeking an experienced Information Technology Lead on behalf of our client, a nationally recognized professional services firm. This high-impact, hands-on leadership role is based onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the organization’s internal IT systems and infrastructure. The position blends desktop and network infrastructure management, SOC1 compliance oversight, and vendor coordination, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft-based environments and process optimization. The ideal candidate is a systems-minded IT professional with a proven track record in on-premise environments and a desire to lead meaningful change within a growing organization. About The Role As the Information Technology Lead, you’ll own the stability, security, and support of the firm’s core IT infrastructure—ranging from desktop systems to managed service provider oversight. You’ll also drive initiatives to maintain compliance (especially SOC1) and introduce automation and efficiency into IT operations. You'll supervise one direct report and work closely with leadership on broader systems strategy. This role is best suited for a senior systems administrator or SRE with strong on-premise IT experience, ready to take on team leadership and long-term infrastructure ownership. Key Responsibilities • Lead the relationship with a third-party Managed Services Provider (MSP), ensuring delivery to SLAs and project goals. • Maintain the company’s SOC1 controls, including documentation, audits, and security posture. • Respond to data privacy and security questionnaires from clients and partners. • Collaboratively administer internal systems and infrastructure, including: • Domain, EntraID, Sophos SIEM, network, and operational monitoring • Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, MyApps • VMware/VDI, Datto, ShareFile, Confluence, Jira, and other business-critical platforms • Oversee the onsite IT Manager in maintaining and supporting the local office network, desktops, laptops, printers, conference rooms, and A/V equipment. • Lead onboarding/offboarding and operational support initiatives in collaboration with HR and other internal teams. • Drive user security awareness programs, including training and phishing simulations. • Support the introduction of RPA/AI-driven automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes. • Contribute to annual budgeting and technology procurement for IT infrastructure and systems. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, desktop support, or infrastructure roles. • Proven hands-on expertise in: • Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, MyApps • VMware / VDI environments • Experience operating within SOC1-compliant environments (SOC2 familiarity is a plus). • Strong customer service orientation and internal stakeholder support mindset. • Ability to manage vendor relationships, procurement, and compliance documentation. • Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and process management skills. • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. • Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Microsoft, or VMware) are a plus.
