Role: Power BI/Reporting Developer Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months Overview: We are seeking a Power BI/Reporting Developer with strong skills in Power BI, T-SQL, DAX, and SSRS. This role will focus on migrating legacy VB and SSRS reports to Power BI, while also developing new dashboards and visualizations. Local candidates should be comfortable interfacing directly with business users to gather requirements and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the migration of SSRS and VB reports to Power BI. • Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports. • Develop complex T-SQL queries and DAX measures. • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues. • Support and maintain existing SSRS reports during the transition. • Provide end-user support and training on Power BI usage. Required Qualifications: • 5 10 years of reporting development experience, with 5+ years in Power BI and SQL. • Strong expertise in T-SQL, DAX, and SSRS. • Experience in report migration projects. • Ability to work independently and directly with business users. • Familiarity with SQL Server, Excel, flat files, and other data sources. Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Databricks, and SSIS. • Prior Business Analyst or client-facing experience. • Relevant Azure/cloud certifications.
