BreakPoint Labs is seeking a DevSecOps Specialist to maintain and manage the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes for the development team in Ft. Meade, Maryland. This role is responsible for ensuring observability and security are integrated across the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include: • Maintain, operate, and enhance mission-critical CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. • Drive the integration of security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline, including static code analysis/testing, dynamic code analysis/testing, and vulnerability scanning for developed tools. • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability. • Collaborate with the development team to identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the software products. • Implement and ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards across all development activities. • Implement task automation and custom tool development to maximize efficiency of the development pipeline. Required Experience: • Experience in multiple programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash/Bourne/C Shell, Rust, and assembly. • 5+ years of DevOps experience, including hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, including Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. • Expertise in integrating security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines, including static code analysis (SAST), dynamic code analysis (DAST), and vulnerability scanning. • Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Experience collaborating with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in software products. • Experience implementing and maintaining compliance with relevant security regulations and standards. • Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker, docker compose, and/or Kubernetes. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Proven experience in task automation and tool development using scripting languages like Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
